Evaluations, when appropriate, use a combination of standardized testing, informal assessments, and/or interviews/questionnaires.
The evaluation is conducted over a number of sessions, based on the areas being assessed and the client’s stamina.
A detailed, written report with assessment results and analysis will be written, and will include recommendations such as whether therapy is warranted and suggested goals.

Phonological Delays and Articulation
Expressive and/or Receptive Language
I work primarily with individuals of all ages who have typical development except in the areas of language, articulation, or executive functions, or who have specific learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), autism, or ADHD. I also work with clients who have unexpected difficulty with spelling or who simply enjoy studying words and learning about the English language. Students with additional concerns are welcome to contact me for further information.
I have used Structured Word Inquiry in my literacy sessions since 2016. I first learned about SWI in 2015, and jumped in with both feet after watching countless videos posted by Pete Bowers on YouTube. I have since taken more than 100 hours of coursework from educators such as Pete Bowers, Real Spelling, LEX, and more; and I continue to seek additional training each year.
