Not sure if you or your child would benefit from services?

Want to meet first to make sure I am the right fit for you or your family?

I am happy to meet with you to discuss your concerns. At the consultation, we will work as a team to determine the best next step for treating the communication needs of you or your child, whether that be assessment or therapy.

Initial 30-minute consultations are free of charge.

Evaluations, when appropriate, use a combination of standardized testing, informal assessments, and/or interviews/questionnaires.

The evaluation is conducted over a number of sessions, based on the areas being assessed and the client’s stamina.

A detailed, written report with assessment results and analysis will be written and will include recommendations such as whether therapy is warranted and suggested goals.

Therapy session are available as one-on-one sessions and as small group classes (for some service areas). Online service delivery is also available in Wisconsin.

Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in length, though shorter sessions are available when appropriate.

Frequency (1-2x/week) is determined in consultation with you, based on need and goals.

Services are available for the following areas:

I work primarily with individuals of all ages who have typical development except in the areas of literacy, executive functions, language, or articulation, or who have specific learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), autism, or ADHD.  I also work with clients who have unexpected difficulty with spelling or who simply enjoy studying words and learning about the English language.  Students with additional concerns are welcome to contact me for further information.

Structured Word Inquiry Coaching for Literacy Professionals

Are you just starting out with Structured Word Inquiry and want to talk to someone about how to get started? Or have you started dabbling and find you have questions you wish you could just run by someone? Whether you are an SLP looking to deepen your language interventions, an educator shifting your classroom practice, or a therapist seeking more effective ways to support struggling students, you don’t have to navigate the shift alone.

I provide dedicated coaching specifically designed for professionals who are just starting their SWI journey. My goal is to turn your uncertainty into curiosity and your questions into confident clinical or classroom practice. The transition to SWI often involves shifting to a new mindset about literacy, embracing a “scientist” mindset. I can offer customized guidance, starting exactly where you are, using your actual student cases or lesson plans as our guide.

Common Questions We Can Tackle Together

If you’ve found yourself asking any of the following, a coaching session is the perfect next step:

“How do I actually start?” We can map out your first few sessions and choose the right questions for your specific learners.

“What kinds of activities can I do?” Learn how to build word sums, create matrices, and use the four questions of SWI effectively, as well as activities that support student attention and motivation..

“What do I do when I’m stumped?” It happens to all of us. I’ll help you explore common tools and resources to find the answers alongside your students.
